Worship Leader (Full-time position)

Qualifications: An evangelical Christian with a desire to serve the Lord and a heart’s desire for worship. Ability to build, lead and empower teams for ministry, must have a desire to see people meet God in their worship experience, must be able to plan and organize a service of worship and be able to lead that service, a good steward, able to work as part of a team, able to work with both blended and contemporary music, able to lead worship from guitar or piano, experience preferred.
Accountability: Directly accountable to the senior pastor.
Responsibilities: Provide the oversight of the music, media (including sound and video), plan and implement two Sunday morning worship services in concert with the senior pastor, mobilize and train people to use their musical and technical talents to serve the body and glorify the Lord (i.e. soloists, instrumentalist, etc.), coordinate the purchase and maintenance of all music, sound, lighting, staging, and multi-media equipment, oversee any other church responsibilities or ministry opportunities for which the pastor considers the worship leader to be qualified and gifted.
Compensation: Salary and hours are negotiable based upon qualifications and experience.
Church pays one-half of Social Security (7.5%) and provides 2 weeks of paid vacation annually.
